i heart faces – smile!

I am just loving this photo from a recent shoot – she is the sweetest 2 year old girl you could hope to meet and this was one of my first pictures of her – she is actually on a swing on her tummy in her backyard – what a beautiful smile!

Hop on over to enter for yourself!

2 Years with Queen Olivia…

As our neighbor kids call her….

On the way home with Queen Olivia….  She slept on Steve’s shoulder the whole way….

And to our wonderful travel group Happy Adoption Day, guys!!!  What a surreal and wonderful day!  Big hugs to all the April 23 G&R Lang Son Girls!!!

Third Grade Rocks….

The T-shirts don’t lie!  Alex had his last concert today – a little “Homework Blues” a little “Hang on Sloopy” and they showed their stuff – go Third Grade Rock Band!

Alex’s BFF (and the best 9 year old guitarist you will ever meet – seriously!)

So Lame….

(all dressed up for the Friends School Gala last weekend… thanks Mel for taking the picture!)

For me to go so long without posting – sorry!  I have been in over my head editing co-op photos and finishing another session up – which I am loving (check out the limepop blog www.limepopblog.wordpress.com).  And Steve has had an art educators’ convention in town so he has been hanging out with kiln and clay out-of-towners every night – all in all – we are both wiped out!  I am editing every spare moment, or else we are wrestling with our increasingly messy and disheveled house.   Also the boys started sports, so two nights a week Alex has baseball and Zach has Lacrosse and baseball twice a week, too – then they have music lessons on top of that!  Ugh – one of my friends told me that I need a “wife” and that is how I feel!  I would like rent a 50′s housewife for like a week to do my laundry, make me some pot roast, vacuum, and hand me a martini as I walk in the door after a long day.

I have 3 more sessions this week so I am trying like crazy to keep up – at least Olivia did well in her first time in “lunch bunch” after preschool last week – I think I am going to sign her up for that every Wednesday for the rest of the year – buying myself just a couple more hours of free time a week may well give me the balance I am missing right now!  Enough complaining – I promise I will catch up more, soon!  Oh – here is Alex in one of his first “rock band” concerts at school (not my photo – thanks so much to the dad who took all the pics!) – anyway Alex was so great!  Tomorrow night we will get to see him play “Hang on Sloopy” – I am so excited!

Check the limepop blog….

If you wonder where I have been all week!  www.limepopblog.wordpress.com

I have been photographing Olivia’s “mommy and me” group – so fun but OH so exhausting!  More one-year olds tomorrow – wish me strength and that my luck with these cuties continues!!!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun and crazy weekend in Philly and Bethlehem and Alex and I just returned this evening, because starting tomorrow I am photographing Olivia’s WHOLE mommy and me all week long – the group is called the Johns Hopkins Toddler Co-op and I guess it will be over 100 kids – school shoots are not really my thing, but for the sake of fun, better pictures than they’ve had in the past (I HOPE!), and letting me get my name out there, they offered me the job this year – it is pretty much full sun there and I will be there mid-day which any photographer reading this knows, SUCKS for picture-taking.  Oh well, I am planning of bringing my big white background as a shade and setting up on some pretty benches in the courtyard – any last minute tips from pros out there are appreciated!!!!

Anyway – here are some shots from today – it was both Easter and my mother-in-law’s birthday, so lots of family came to Bethlehem to celebrate.  Here are the Prichett grandkids…

Olivia loved being with her cousin Abby….

Here is what happens these days when I try for a shot of my 3….

Now is this crazy – the 2 second-borns are blonde and both lost the same first tooth!  Don’t they look like twins???

And finally, the birthday girl with her sister – it was hard to get them to stop giggling for a picture!  Thanks for everything and happy birthday, Michele!
